Esthetician / Skin Care
Program Tuition & Financing
Financing
Esthetician students may be qualified to receive grants and financial aid from a variety of sources, including the U.S. Department of Education. To expedite your enrollment, you can submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid online or by mail. Click here for instructions. Our Financial Aid officers can help you explore your financing options, and to fill out applications and paperwork.
Examination
You can register for the esthetician exam online (Tennessee or Mississippi) and prepare for the licensing exam with information from State Board of Barbering & Cosmetology’s website. Because it takes a few weeks to receive your test date, you should register early prior to completing your required hours of skin care and esthetician school training. The instructors and school staff at Gould’s Academy are happy to assist in completing your application.
Hours & Tuition
In order to graduate our esthetician school program, students must successfully fulfill the hours required. A new nail tech student will begin their education at Level 1 in a supervised classroom, accumulating 300 hours of education in a supervised classroom where you learn theory and participate in practical training. Students move on to Level 2, the Student Salon (Clinic Floor) for practical experience working on real clients, and to prepare for the State Board Esthetician Licensing Exam.
